MINI Beach Weekend

Sunshine MINIs invites you to the first MINI Beach Weekend! The three-day weekend will feature several MINI-related events, drives, meals, and a relaxing weekend at the beach. The event will take place in the Fall when the weather should be perfect for motoring and enjoying the outdoors.

We have several official events planned but you will also have time to explore the area or enjoy the beach on your own schedule.

Schedule of Events

Friday, October 1:

12:00 - 2:00 pm Suggested lunches for early arrivals: Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery, 4 Rivers Smokehouse, and P.F. Chang's. Or organize your own lunch!

"MINIs at the Museum" Car Show at the Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art (at the Museum of Arts and Sciences) with prizes. There will be a cash bar and a food truck. Plus, raffle prizes. Spectators are free and welcome.

2:00 pm Arrive and park and shine

3:00 - 5:00 pm Car show judging

4:00 - 7:00 pm Tango 01 food truck open

4:00 - 8:00 pm Cash bar open

5:00 - 8:00 pm Visit the art museum for free

Saturday, October 2:

"Driver's Choice" Photo Scavenger Hunt Challenge to many scenic locations in Daytona Beach and surrounding areas.

10:00 am Driver rendezvous at Hilton Garden Inn

11:00 am - 5:00 pm Scavenger Hunt*

*Estimated drive time is 4+ hours but be careful and enjoy your MINI moments. Follow all posted speed limits.

5:00 - 7:00 pm Suggested dinners and visits to local breweries: Caribbean Jack's, Ocean Deck, Red Pig Brewery, Ormond Brewing. Or organize your own dinner!

7:00 pm Deadline to submit photos

Sunday, October 3:

7:30 am - 9:30 am Suggested coffee and brunch at Red Pig Brewery. Purchase coffee by East Wind Coffee and food from Tango 01.

10:00 am Group photo at Daytona Playhouse

11:00 am - 1:00 pm "Motor-on" Farewell Lunch at Ormond Garage
