Thursday Night Unofficial Beer Swap by the Pool

A few of us are planning on arriving at Coronado Springs on Thursday and thought it might be fun to do an unofficial beer swap Thursday night out by the pool. Who's interested??

That's not cheating at all... just make sure you've got a room to crash in after having a few beers so that you don't have to drive the 10 miles home that night!!

That's what we're hoping to do too. Yankee Jack is going to try and get some Apricot Ale brewed in time. We'll probably also bring another local favorite, Pinglehead.

How does everyone feel about putting the start time at 8pm and then people can drift over to the pool after they arrive and get settled in their rooms? Is that too early? Too late??

Also, we didn't get to go to the Brew Swap at the Dragon last year so does anyone know if there is a particular way that the "swapping" is handled, or is it just people making trades as they go?

The MOTD swap is very laid back. Folks just set there beers on a table and swap with those they want to. I always recommend bringing a few sample cups so folks can do a little pre-tasting

Most places it's a swap for a swap, or table hand outs. I don't even really drink beer, my bride does. I'm more cigars and vodka ;)

Usually there is an unofficial pre-MM dinner on Thursday, which should get posted here sometime closer to the date. So 8PM might be a little early for those who go to dinner. But we will definitely be hanging out that evening. We've requested the rooms for our group block to be a building Casitas 4, which has a pool in the courtyard!
