fixed vacuum leak. now mini wont idle.

Post by YesImBs »

I have a 04 MCS. the check engine light came on for P0507 for the idle air control being higher than expected. drove and idled fine. a little high but steady. did some research and found this to be commonly caused by air leaks. found one of the rubber bellows on the inter-cooler wasn't seated properly so i fixed it. i then went into the test menu and reset the ecu to clear the code. now when i start the car it immediately dies. if i feather the gas i can keep it going and it drives perfect. but as soon as i let off the gas it dies. has anyone else had this happen?
